How Enrollment Affects NJ State Grants and Scholarships

Your Financial Aid Awards at Stockton University are based on your enrollment for the 2018 semester. You must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours as a full time student to be eligible for all state grants/scholarships (TAG, EOF, NJ STARS II, etc.) from the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA).

Additionally, you must be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours as a half time student to be eligible for many educational loans including Federal Direct Student and PLUS loans.

Check your registration on the GoStockton Portal. You have until September 12, 2018 to contact Student Records to make any adjustments you find necessary. If you are not enrolled for 6 or more credits by that time your financial aid will be reduced or cancelled.

You can also contact the Bursar at 609-652-4597 to make payment arrangements or contact our office if you have questions about how your financial aid awards are affected based on the number of enrolled credits for this semester.
