As you see in the title today, we will be discussing collaboration tools. As an educator, you are required to cooperate with your students, co-workers, and higher management. Sometimes trying to discuss a lesson, getting a message to someone, and keeping track of students’ paperwork can be stressful when you don’t have the required tools. However, this problem is eliminated by Microsoft technology. They have stepped in and created some fantastic tools that we are using today. One Note- in the video, they mention how much they can do through One Note, such as bringing their text into one note or allowing students to create text in one note collaboratively or individually. This tool allows teachers to contain lessons, student’s work, and other information throughout the year. As in the video, Teachers could use the app on the cordless pad, and whatever information is drawn on their pad would appear on the projector for everyone to see. Students were also given access to draw on the tool and go back to see previous work. Since teachers are given access to everyone’s work through these tools. This saves them time, and paper which is always a plus. Students have a higher rate of completing and handing in their work.

In all, collaborative tools are useful if you are in any profession. They help us understand each other’s messages and work. Under the circumstance that the world is in with COVID, this has been our way of communicating and learning. Most of us have had and still have to take virtual classes; therefore, we are all getting to know how to work each and every tool. There are other tools besides one note, such as PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams, Flipgrid, word, and much more. The great thing is that they all have different features that can help us work collaboratively.

Thank you everyone for your time and attention. I hope everyone enjoyed the information and video as much as I did.
