So this week for my blog, I took the “Out of Eden Walk” that National geographic has on their website. And all that I can say is how amazing that this website truly is. You can travel around places that you probably will never have the chance to actually go to, and see and hear about things that you have never known of

FOOD OF GODS
One of the places that I visited was the Food of Gods in Jamalabad, Pakistan. On this walk they encountered a plant that is used for so many different things around the world and has so many different purposes. Reading, I thought that it was amazing how one sole plant, that many of us would just walk right by does so many amazing things for people that have different issues. Not only does this plant do amazing things for so many different issues, it also is something that the native people are extremely proud of. In the article, it talks about a native man be happy when expressing that somebody wanted to learn how to harvest this amazing plant. So for me, this article was not only about this amazing plant but how much the people of this place really valued it.

THE EXIT:ABOARD THE MV ALIOS IN THE MEDITERRANEAN
The next place that I visited on this riveting adventure was a destination to a place that they were leaving. I read a lot of articles that were in Chapter 2 of this, but I really loved this one, for the pure fact that it showed so much purity of the place that they had visited. Yes, they were leaving the place that they visited, but so much life and truth had some out of this article I was just intrigued. In this article, it was really the pureness of where he was going, and the life that lived there that caught my eye. He was traveling to a cave in his mind, in which he had found out so much of the people that once lived there. And, he recalled all of this information on the boat, in the hot cabin, in which he was traveling to go see more of this amazing world. I loved this article so much, because it gave to the truths of where he had been, and told the readers the story in a way that he remembered it, and his memory, not as it was actually happening.

BRIDGES OF MEMORY: The living tree-root bridges of northeastern India span rivers of time
This was by far one of my favorite articles that I read on this page. I think that it was because it is truly amazing the nature of it all. I am very much for nature, I love being outdoors, and I love seeing and hearing about new things that the Earth does without us humans even knowing about it. In this article, they discovered the living tree-root bridges of northeastern India. These bridges were formed, but hundreds and hundreds of people walking over the same path, in the same place. They are not man made bridges, they are not made of artificial things, and they are living and they still serve a purpose for the people that live in this area and travel through this jungle every single day. I cannot imagine the feeling of walking underneath something that is so Earthly and powerful. I think that would be an amazing experience to encounter and be apart of. My favorite article that I had read because it really touched on how powerful the Earth is, and how little that we truly need.

I overall had an amazing time learning about all of these cool places, and all places that I am sure that I will never get to see or be apart of, but can now learn about them in such a pure way that is inciting.
