Animoto: Video Maker (Tell Your Story Through Video and Pictures!)

Animoto is a great way to tell a story about an event, social gathering, or someone’s life through videos and pictures. The videos and pictures that are chosen by the user, will end up in a slideshow presentation for the public to see. The user can change the presentation style to their own style and liking. This is a much different approach of telling the story of someone than that of Facebook or Instagram.

Why Should You Use Animoto?

Animoto is a great tool to use in the classroom, as educators can monitor what students are doing and it stays away from the problems that are caused with Facebook or other social media websites. It’s an alternative to using PowerPoint, and it is more fun and creative for the students to use. I am glad that I have discovered this program, as it is something that I will use as a future educator in the classroom.
