Congratulations to John O’Hara (Associate Professor of Writing, Critical Thinking, and First-Year Studies) on a couple of great accomplishments over the summer.
First, he opened “A Time for Change: Civil Rights in South Jersey” at the AAHMSJ on August 4, and will open on September 28 on campus in the Bjork library. Here is the Philadelphia Inquirer coverage.

He also published his article, “The Man Who Started the Killings at Kent State: The Myron Pryor Lie Detector Test,” which reveals new evidence in the Kent State/May 4, 1970 shootings of students at Kent State University. It was published by Routledge/Taylor and Francis in The Sixties: A Journal of History, Culture and Politics 9.2 (2016). Here is the abstract.
