Dr. Jackson is an Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Sociology and Anthropology program at Stockton University in Galloway, NJ. I currently reside and was raised in Philadelphia, PA. I specialize in urban sociology and inequality from an intersectional and interdisciplinary perspective. I enjoy studying cities and urban social movements. Most of my work and interests are rooted in community relationships. I build the bridge between my students and their wider community through service-learning.
