My students and I will doing a project about the redlining of the Northside of Atlantic City. As you may know, the Northside was subject to institutional redlining in the 1930s and 1940s and was labeled as a “hazardous” neighborhood due to the presence of African Americans.
You might have seen this article about it in the Press of Atlantic City.
We are looking to interview residents that have personally lived, family has lived or still live in the Northside of Atlantic City.
We will be interviewing people Monday, February 12th 3:30-5:30 at Stockton University in Galloway.
Snacks and Refreshments will be provided. This is part of a larger research project. Interviewees will need to sign a form to participate.
Please RSVP immediately. Spots fill up! Email Dr. Jackson at email@example.com. Please spread widely.
