Ever since I was young, I’ve had a sweet tooth for Japanese Anime. Recently I’ve been watching the show called JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, a manga series written by Hirohiko Araki. From the first episode you can see the differences between Japanese and American anime. Male and female characters vary greatly in size and in the role they play. The food that they eat is more like the food in Japanese culture like noodles and seafood dishes. The show has a lot of fighting so it holds to the honor code of the Japanese culture so the fights are more respectful as to American anime. Other than those differences the show tries to mimic American “way of life”. My guess is the writer did this because he knew it would sell more.
